Entry criteria

• This competition is open to brothers only.
• Minimum age to participate in the tournament is 13.
• If participants do not have a full team registered, Husna Staff will add you to a team with others who also require additional player(s).
• Each team must have a name, and represent a city/state/province/region
• The maximum is 6 players on a team.
• Participants are permitted to only be part of 1 team.

Competition format

• There will be a maximum of 5 possible Rounds for this competition (to be confirmed based on number of teams registered).
• Single elimination rounds – win and your team advances, a loss will unfortunately eliminate your team from the tournament.

Rules

The rules of play remain consistent throughout the tournament, though the number of sets may be extended in later rounds as determined by the referees.

Winner is determined by first team to 21 points, or leading score at 10 minutes. Whichever occurs first.

• At the referee’s discretion, extra time may be added in extenuating circumstances.
• If the game is tied at the end of 10 minutes/extra time, then the winner will be decided by the team winning the next point.
• Opening serve will be determined by a coin toss (or similar idea)
• A player may serve a maximum of three consecutive times. After the third successful serve, or if a serve is lost, the serve rotates to the next player on the team.
• Referees’ decisions on game calls are final and to be respected. They have the right to adjust as required, any changes will be communicated with the impacted teams.

• Each participant must always observe Islamic behavior and etiquette.
• Show respect for all participants, referees, and spectators.
• Play a team game and involve your teammates.
• Support and encourage your teammates.
• Always play your best. Your team is depending on you.
• Maintain a positive attitude. Keep yourself and your team motivated.
• Respect all calls made by referees.
• Show good sportsmanship at all times, and have fun!
