You will be required to present passports, your completed Dominican E-Ticket, your transfer order number,

and a copy of your passport. Please double check to make sure your documents are valid. Also please bring along with your passport your PR Card for Canadian Residents and Green Card for US Residents if you have one.

1. BEFORE You Board

Step 1: PASSPORTS & DOCUMENTS

1. Ensure your Passports and travel documents are valid for six months from date of travel.
A passport is required to travel. Legal US & Canadian Residents (also citizens) DO NOT REQUIRE A VISA to visit Dominican Republic.

HOWEVER If you are in the US or Canada on a work visa etc. you may be required to obtain a visit visa for the Dominican Republic depending on your nationality.

2. Either upload the two pages of your passport (ID page and beside it), OR Bring a copy of your passport

In order to successfully check in and avoid delays on the day of arrival, you must either upload your passport pictures, or bring a copy of everyone’s passports.

3. Complete and submit all Waivers.

4. Give Yourself enough time to get to your airport of departure. Dominican Republic is considered an international flight. For those checking in at the airport you will have to go through the international desks, so give yourself enough time (typically arrive at the airport 3 (three) hours before your flight)

Step 2: Waivers

Have everyone in your party over 18 years sign and submit the waivers individually. A guardian(s) must complete waivers on behalf of dependents (children under the age of 18) by simply adding their dependents (children's) names to their waiver.

CHECK IN CANNOT BE COMPLETED WITHOUT IT

If waivers are not pre-submitted you will need to complete them during check-in which will lengthen the process.

Step 3: Dominican Republic E-Ticket

The Local Government requires every visitor to complete the Dominican Republic E-Ticket to enter and exit Dominican Republic. It combines the Traveler’s health Affidavit, Customs Declaration and International Embarkations in one single QR Code or form. It's super easy to complete. Once you have completed the E- Ticket just be sure to take a screenshot of it (both arrival and Exit "Entrada & Salida"). and save it and star it to your phone.

There is no charge for this.

In order to to complete the E-Ticket you will have to:

A) Ensure All PASSPORTS have validity of six months from date of travel

Multiple family members can be added to one ticket and you can go ahead and do this now even.

Step 4: Book Your Round Trip Airport Transfer

on your phone as you will have to present this number at the BRX counter when you arrive and when you depart.

At PUJ airport BRX Services operate from COUNTER #20 outside Terminals A & B. Their staff wear white and blue turquoise uniforms and are at your service when you arrive.

2. In The Air & Arrivals

STEP 1: Dominican Immigration Disembarkation / Embarkation Card

To the best of our knowledge and experience you do not have to complete a disembarkation card during your flight (most times the latter part of your flight) if you have completed and submitted the Dominican Republic QR code above.

Also just a reminder duas are accpeted during travel.

STEP 2: Immigration & Customs

Once you land you will most likely be off-loaded directly onto the tarmac to enjoy some island breeze right when you land 🙂

Terminal A - usually Canadian Flights
Terminal B - usually American Flights

Going through PUJ can take between 1 - 2 hours depending on the season and day of the week. Our advice is to have some snacks and drinks handy especially for the elderly, children and anyone with health conditions.

A. From the tarmac you will proceed to Immigration or what they refer to as "Passport Control". Again Super easy Inshallah. Simply let them know you are on a family vacation and thats all.

B. Once through immigration you will then proceed to baggage claim to collect your luggage and exit the airport. Before exiting your luggage will be put through the x-ray machine.

C. Once you exit the airport with your luggage you will ignore all your fans and solicitors and proceed straight to Desk #20 where BRX Transfer services will be waiting for you Inshallah.

STEP 3: Take Transfer To Resort

A. Once you have exited with your luggage have your transfer order number Transfer Confirmation Image

ready and present it to BRX once you arrive at their counter #20B. Upon presenting your confirmation number a BRX agent will issue you a temporary pass and walk you to your shuttle Inshallah. Once boarded Inshallah your shuttle may depart immediately or wait for a maximum of 25 minutes before leaving for the resort.If you did not book your transfer please go back to part 1 step 4.The travel time from PUJ to Nickelodeon Resort is approximately 60-70 mins.

3. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIMINGS

1. CHECK-IN

“Rooms will be ready between 4:00pm - 6:00pm inshaAllah. However if your room is ready the resort will welcome you to check-in earlier. Most rooms will not be ready before 4pm

To Check-in you will need:

1- Your HUSNA ID that starts with H-number e.g. H-9999-AAA. Take a screenshot of this as well and save it

2- Passport ID

3- Credit card for incidentals (you will not be charged if you have no incidentals added to your room)

4- Bring copies of passports for everyone in your party if you did not email it to the resort beforehand

Once checked in if your room is not ready, you will still be welcomed to utilize the resort and start your vacation, using all the common areas, restaurants, and beach inshallah!

Also be sure to stop by the Husna welcome desk when you arrive.

The resort will set up a table where you can periodically check room status updates after 4PM

2. CHECK-OUT

Check out time is 12pm. But you are most welcome to use the common areas until it is time for you to board your departure transfer.

Please be sure to clear any incidentals at the front desk the night before you departure (e.g. spa, gift shop and laundry etc.). On check-out day you can go to Snick Lounge for express check-out (i.e. if you have no incidentals).

If your BRX pick up time is before checkout (12pm), be sure to keep your luggage outside of your room 2 HOURS prior. E.g. If your pick up time is for 10:00am, keep all of your luggage outside of your room by 8:00am to ensure it gets picked up. The bell boys have a list of departures, and they will go around and pick up bags accordingly.

You would have received your specific departure time at the time of booking your transfer.

Please do not arrive to the lobby earlier to your departure time given for your transfer as this will cause delays.

Once it is your time to board your departure transfer, you will once again present your transfer order number
